Editorial take
The forbidden staircase is a neat hook: a rule invites its own breaking. It suits fans of curiosity-driven plots. Skip it if you want a story where the host is not in control. The free pair is a fair sample. Because every locked episode is priced the same, 12 tokens, you can stop whenever the story stops working for you and keep the rest of your balance.
